Sarah and Lee were married at one of my favourite Yorkshire wedding venues - at Crathorne Hall in North Yorkshire, and what a great day of celebration it was too!
There was another wedding on somewhere in Westminster with  a whole load of people that day ... but this was the wedding to be at!
Both the bride and the groom are laid back, so laid back that Sarah was asking her colleagues at the hospice where she works in Darlington if there was 'anything else I should do' just a week before her wedding!
I had a lovely late afternoon with them for their pre-wedding portrait photography session just weeks before with their delightful daughter Ellie, and so, having met with Sarah's parents too before the big day, all was set for a great wedding day!
When I turned up at the house, all was calm and quiet, even though there were florists and hairdressers and three bridesmaids getting things ready, and Sarah was, well, chilled out, while Mum had Ellie permanently attached to her hip as she got herself ready for the day!
We all had a good laugh at the bridesmaids 'big knickers' while they were getting ready, and I knew the day would fly by with fun and happiness - and I wasn't wrong!
sarah dressed Ellie in a beautiful dress for the day and soon enough it was time for her own Benjamin Roberts wedding gown to put on, and she looked wonderful!
Quick dash to Heighington Church to catch a nervous looking Lee while the bunting was out on the village green for Prince William's wedding celebrations - and the sun was out too!
The stand-in vicar was a barrell of laughs, and he let me stand in a good place too so I could catch the vows in the church.
I set up a confetti shot for all the guests outside the church with Sarah and Lee looking radiant and then it was a 25 mile drive to Crathorne Hall for the wedding breakfast!
There was lots of kisses and cuddles, backslapping and handshakes and a round of applause when the bride and groom turned up, before we headed inside and out on the lawn at Carthorne hall for informal photographs and some fun with a few formal shots just before guests were called.
The wedding breakfast was delicious (thanks folks!) the speeches were very entertaining particularly from the best man and the father of the bride.
Soon it was time to pop outside for ten minutes with the bride and groom - on their own for the first time, both with each other and with me .. so I played gooseberry and took some nice shots of them together and during our wandering we chanced upon a small area of bluebells, and it would have been a bit daft not to have used them for some photographs. You could tell that Sarah and Lee were very much in love and loving every minute of their day!
It was straight back to the hall to greet evening guests before a quick shuffle around the dance floor with each other  and their daughter.
I made my rounds, making sure there were no other family photographs that were required by parents, thanked them for their hospitality before shaking Lee by the hand and kissing Sarah goodnight, and left them to enjoy the rest of their day with their nearest and dearest!
I hope you enjoy the sneak peek of their day, just 20+ shots of the final 350+ which tell the story of their great wedding celebrations.
